Intriguing new news!

"What's this?" you may ask. "A second post in consecutive days? Nonsense!" After only a few days my progress has seemed to have taken a turn for the better, notably starting with 2 O. bronzepiece steals in Dynamis Jeuno. We (my girlfriend and I) have also happened to find a few 9k pieces (the going rate for all 3 types of currency is ~10k each). While I've been working on the pieces somewhat consistenty when I have the gil, certain things inspire me to work on it to a greater extent. Things I see on forums, other people with Mandau, etc. It seems somewhat insane, even to myself, but I'd like to finish it without owing anybody gil. We'll see how that works out in the distant future, but for now, a progress update!

Slow goings...

So, I've been busy leveling BRD and working on CoP, thus reducing the amount of gil I have available for currency purchases. Mainly I've just been picking pieces here and there whenever I see them for cheap. Not much information this update, but so far:

It begins...

Having obtained most of the purchasable gear that I've wanted for thief, I've decided to start working toward... a newwww carrrr! I'm kidding, it already states my plans at the top of the page, so mentioning them again would be redundant. The concept for someone to track their entire upgrade process came from the thief forums on Allakhazam. Hopefully later on I can get a cool little graph showing how far I am from completion and whatnot, but I'm a pretty lazy guy, so I'm not sure how likely that is.

I've been planning on starting collection of currency for a while, but wanted to wait until I was confident in my current gear (basically, I wanted to make sure I was set until I get sea and start limbus runs for Homam).

That being said, my first currency obtained since finalizing my decision came fittingly from a Steal off of an orc in Dynamis-San d'Oria. That brings my total progress to:
